I was born in Turin, Italy,
in 1976. Freelance photographer since 2005. I live and work in Turin.
My work involves social environment. I am
attracted to people and to all the events in which a community takes part and
gives a social contribute. I make photographs to understand the conditions in
which we live. I try to describe the changes of my society through photography.
My actual project concernes
portraits of people who lives in social, political or economics difficult
conditions.
I want each image to function as a mirror of what
captures my soul.
I’ve published in some european magazines (like Rolling Stones, Io Donna, D di repubblica, Le courier
International, Slow Food Magazine, Red Pepper) as a freelance photographer.
“Sardinia is
something else[…]Enchanting spaces and distances to travel, nothing finished,
nothing definitive. It is like freedom itself”.
D.
H. Lawrence
Sardinia is the place where my grandma was
born. Even if I live in Turin,
I went there a lot of time, every summer since I was a child. I spent with my
Sardinian family my childhood, for this reason I care about this land, so attached
to ancient traditions eventhought the radical changes it’s living.
