He was born in 1976 in Spoleto, where he lives and works. He has been working as a professional photographer for ten years. His passion for photography has led him to individualize two recurrent themes: stage photos (theatre, music and dance) and news reports.
It is just during his trips to Africa that he has created works on South Africa, Mali, Mauritania and Senegal. These last ones are focused on great topical subjects: hand-crafted fishing, first source of economic maintenance in this country, that is at risk because of the industrial fishing in the industrial countries.
Since August 2009 he has been cooperating with the photographic agency OTNphotos.
In April 2009 he creates a report on young mates employed on cargo ships.
In October 2007 he takes part in the first photographic competition “Racconti d’Arte” organized by Mart in Trento and is placed second.
In August 2006 he is commissioned by the local company V.U.S. Valle Umbra Servizi to create the photographic archive of the several offered services.
In January 2006 he publishes a report on the magazine Sportweek, on a murder inmate’s story who plays in a third division football team.
Since August 2005 he has been commissioned by the Spoleto municipality and by the company SSIT to create the photographic documentation concerning the alternative mobility for Spoleto.
In April 2005 he publishes a report on the traditional Signares holiday in Senegal on the weekly newspaper “Io Donna”, supplement of the newspaper “Il Corriere della Sera”.
In April 2005 he also publishes a report on the Italian women’s national boxing team, on the weekly newspaper “Anna”.
He is placed third at “Orvieto Fotografia Professional Photography Awards”, international photographic competition, 2005 edition with special mention of the jury.
In October 2004, for the second consecutive year, he takes part in the international festival “Percussionistica – World Rithm Festival”, with the exhibition “From Bamako to Tombouctou” at the “University for foreigners” in Perugia.
He is the official photographer for the shows of the Estate Spoletina 2004 (international festival for art, theatre, music and dance), on behalf of the municipality of Spoleto.
Umbria, at any moment, gives you the opportunity to reflect in the midst of green tranquility. It is this sensation of tranquility that I would like to convey.
